Located in the heart of East Anglia, Norwich is the historic capital of Norfolk and one of Britain’s oldest and most enchanting cities. With cobbled streets, grand architecture, and a rich legacy of trade and culture, it offers a unique blend of old-world allure and modern vibrancy.

Step Back in Time

Explore Norwich Castle, a majestic Norman fortress dating back to 1067, and marvel at the towering spire of Norwich Cathedral—England’s second tallest. Stroll through Elm Hill, a perfectly preserved medieval street lined with Tudor buildings, artisan shops, and inviting cafés.

The Football Club

Established in 1902, Norwich City Football Club—affectionately known as The Canaries—has become a symbol of resilience, pride, and community spirit in English football. The club’s roots lie deep in the historic city of Norwich, with its nickname inspired by the area’s historic association with canary breeding, a nod to the city’s vibrant past.

The club is also known for its passionate and devoted fanbase, with Norwich supporters consistently filling Carrow Road and supporting the club through every high and low. Their motto, “On The Ball, City,” believed to be the oldest football song still sung today, underscores the rich traditions that fuel the club's identity.
